Change management is a process and set of strategies utilized by organizations to successfully transition from one state or process to another. Change can be both planned and unplanned and can involve entire departments, groups or individuals within an organization as well as external stakeholders. 2. Communicate openly – It is essential that managers communicate clearly about the proposed changes throughout all levels of the organization including frontline employees (Frost-Larson et al., 2020). Open communication helps eliminate rumors, build trust between stakeholders affected by the changes and reinforces a sense of commitment among those involved (Frost-Larson et al., 2020).

Involve stakeholders – Involving key stakeholders early on in the process provides opportunities for meaningful dialogue which fosters better understanding among those who may disagree or want more information on how they will be impacted by such changes (Cummings & Worley 2014). Additionally, involving those affected gives these individuals ownership over decisions made related to change processes which makes them feel empowered versus overruled when decisions are imposed upon them without any input from their end.
4. Establish rewards system – Rewarding those who actively participate in transitioning through organizational changes increases motivation thus helping reinforce desired behaviors leading up towards successful implementations(Basu et al., 2018) . Rewards could come in various forms such as monetary recognition, additional training opportunities or increased job autonomy depending on what fits best into an individual’s situation at hand(Basu et al., 2018).
